There’s no question that we’re going through such uncertain and trying times. And while some of you might argue that the last thing one should be thinking about these days is style and fashion, there are many (including myself, of course) who’d beg to differ. Because fashion and dressing up has a unique way of turning the mundane into wonderful moments.

The thrill we get when we try on a new dress that just arrived in the mail, or the excitement and motivation we feel about working out when we have new work out gear… Who said we should stop having those moments, just because we’re going through difficult times? If anything, those moments should be encouraged!

Leggings

There’s just no going wrong with a pair of leggings. Not only are they comfortable but they go with practically anything and are easy to dress up or down. And unlike other loungewear like pajamas, leggings are perfectly acceptable to wear for an exciting day of picking up essentials at the grocery store.

Sneakers

While I also suggest donning your much-neglected heels for dinner at home every once in a while, I can’t imagine anyone surviving the lockdown without the aid of a pair of trusty sneakers.

Hoodies and sweatshirts are fast becoming one of lockdown’s great style heroes. Snuggly and comfortable, stylish and warm… They’re perfect for a day of lounging around (or working!) on the couch, and they’re also great for heading out on walks or running errands. They’re also easy to style up or style down because they go with almost anything!

Graphic Tees

When it comes to graphic tees, it’s go bold, or go home. Because as the ultimate everyday wear, t-shirts can be quite easy to dismiss. But there’s a reason why t-shirts are wardrobe essential, lockdown or not. They’re easy, comfortable, and when married with the right graphic print or pattern, can effortlessly elevate your style.
